Community guidelines

bnliu works because people in the scene trust it. These are the basics. They sit alongside our Terms.

Be who you are

  • Use your real name or your real artist name, with one account.
  • Don't pretend to be someone else, or claim credits that aren't yours.

Treat people well

  • No harassment, threats, hate or abuse, in public or in messages.
  • Respect a no. If someone isn't interested in working together, leave it there.
  • Don't share other people's private details.

No spam

  • Don't mass-message people with promo or the same pitch.
  • Don't scrape the site or use it to build lists.
  • Keep posts about the scene: music, gigs, collaboration, opportunities.

Share what's yours

Only upload music, images and files you own or have permission to share. If something of yours has been used without permission, tell us here.

Be straight about work

Bookings, fees and splits are agreed between you and the other person. Be clear and honest about what you're offering and what you expect, and put it in writing.

Reporting

See something that breaks these guidelines? Use Report on the profile, post, message or file. We review reports and may remove content, warn a member, or suspend an account. If you think we got it wrong, email hello@bnliu.com.
